About Me

 

Hello! My name is Susan Gallier, and I’m 22 years old and passionate about all things food and beverage. I’m gearing up to graduate with a food and beverage entrepreneurship degree from Johnson & Wales University this May. I’ve also earned an associate’s degree in Baking and Pastry, which has fueled my love for baking and trying new recipes. There’s something incredibly satisfying about creating those delicious treats, and I’m always looking for new flavors and techniques to try in the kitchen.


I’m leaving my comfort zone this fall and relocating to Japan to teach English! I can’t wait to immerse myself in the culture, learn the language, and explore the incredible food scene. I’m looking forward to sharing my culinary experiences while gaining fresh perspectives on food from around the world.


When I’m not busy with school or in the kitchen, you can find me curled up on the couch with my dog, Pip, who is truly the love of my life and my two other dogs, Ruger and Danica. They all have a knack for brightening even the gloomiest days, and our snuggle sessions are some of my favorite moments. I also enjoy reading, writing, and watching my favorite TV shows. There’s just something comforting about getting lost in a good book or series.


As I embark on this next chapter, I’m excited about blending my entrepreneurial spirit with my love for food and teaching. Who knows? Maybe I’ll find a way to incorporate Japanese cuisine into my future endeavors! I’m thrilled about the opportunities ahead and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
